New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Bryan Bresee is feared to have suffered a torn ACL, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported on Wednesday.
While tests are ongoing, it’s likely the 2023 first-rounder is done for the season, Rapoport added.
Bresee was entering the fourth year of his rookie deal. New Orleans picked up his fifth-year option in April.
The former 29th overall pick was set to anchor the Saints’ defensive line in a critical 2026 season. Now, it’s likely he’ll be sidelined until 2027.
