The Detroit Pistons are taking on the Phoenix Suns on ESPNU as the 2026 NBA Summer League continues.

The Timberwolves defeated the Pacers 114-98 to open the day’s action, as Zyon Pullin (23 pts) and Isaiah Evans (22 pts, 4 3PM) led six double-figure scorers.

The Magic ran their record to 3-1 by defeating the 76ers 99-92, shooting 56.1% as a team, headlined by Jase Richardson (25 pts on 10-for-15 FG).

Malakai Branham (23 pts) led the Cavaliers over the Pelicans 82-77 in a defensive battle.

Now, we have Pistons-Suns (6 ET, ESPNU), featuring No. 18 pick Ebuka Okorie, and Bucks-Hornets (7:30 ET, Prime Video), with No. 10 pick Brayden Burries in action.

Brayden Burries (22.3 ppg in Summer League) is ready to lead Milwaukee (0-3) against Charlotte (1-2), as the Bucks seek their first win in Vegas.

Cavaliers win 82-77

Malakai Branham (23 pts) led Cleveland to a close victory over New Orleans, outdueling Markquis Nowell (20 pts, 2 stl), who battled to keep the Pelicans alive through most of the contest.

Both teams shot under 40% in this defensive struggle, with the Cavs earning an advantage at the line and from beyond the arc (9 made 3-pointers to 6).

Agee leading the Cavs

Rashaun Agee (10 pts, 7 reb) is a team-high +19 with the Cavaliers up 68-57 with 4:12 to go in the game.

The 6-foot-7 Chicago native played at five colleges, ending at Texas A&M, where he was named Third Team All-SEC after putting up 14.6 ppg, 8.7 reb and 2.6 ast.

He’s solidly-built and aggressive on the boards.

A big shot for Ebuka Okorie (8 pts, 2 ast), the 6-foot guard out of Stanford.

He was 2-for-12 from 3-point range entering today’s game, but shot 35.9% from deep in college last season. To be successful as a small guard, it’s important to be able to make the defender play up tight.

Suns–Pistons ready to get going on ESPNU

No. 30 pick Koa Peat headlines the Suns, while Chaz Lanier, who has a main roster contract with the Pistons, is averaging 24.5 ppg over his last two games.

Jase Richardson (25 pts, 10-for-15 shooting) led Orlando to a win over Philadelphia, running the Magic record to 3-1 in Vegas.

The entire Magic lineup scored in double figures, as the team shot 56.1% from the field and 12-for-24 (50%) from 3-point range.

No. 22 pick Labaron Philon (15 pts, 6 reb, 6 ast) was held to 7-for-24 shooting, while Johni Broome sat out this contest.

Amari Lyles (18 pts, 6 reb) led the 76ers in scoring.

Timberwolves win 114-98

Zyon Pullin (23 pts, 6 ast) led six Wolves in double figures as they shot 50% from the field to defeat the Pacers.

Isaiah Evans (22 pts, 4 3PM) had his best game of the summer, knocking down his first 3-pointers in Vegas.

“I think Duke prepared me the most. The terminology is the same; the physicality is the same,” said Evans. “I’m ready (for the next game).”

Jalen Slawson (20 pts, 9 reb, 3 ast, 4 blk) was the top scorer for the Pacers.

‘A Slawson slice’

Jalen Slawson (20 pts, 9 reb, 3 ast, 4 blk) just stormed down the lane for a one-handed slam to cut the Timberwolves’ lead to 95-85 with 4:42 to go in the game.

“This is just nasty,” said Prime’s Brendan Glasheen.

“Do not get in the way,” said Prime’s Teresa Weatherspoon.

He’s been the Pacers’ best player this summer, showing length and slashing ability at 6-foot-7, including this block earlier.

A poster to end the half

Jaylin Williams (2 pts, 3 reb) just capped a strong first half for the Timberwolves with a steal and slam, sending them into the break with a 62-51 lead.

“We’ve just got to get better on defense. I think we can score, no issue,” said Trey Kaufman-Renn (10 pts).

Kaufman-Renn said it’s a “weird experience” to play against Braden Smith (5 pts, 2 reb, 3 ast), his former Purdue teammate, but “a lot of fun.”

Minnesota’s shooting 52.8% from the field at the break, earning a 28-20 lead in points in the paint.

Yuki Kawamura also dropped this slick dime to Jalen Slawson (10 pts, 4 blk).

Richardson rocking

Jase Richardson (10 pts on 4-for-5 shooting, 2 3PM) has it flowing to open Magic-76ers in a battle of two of his father’s former teams.

Richardson posted a career-high of 20 points in his rookie season, scoring it on Jan. 6 against the Washington Wizards. He’s a quick guard with vertical pop at 6-foot-1.

Powering to the rim

Jalen Slawson (8 pts, 2 blk) and No. 58 pick Trey Kaufman-Renn (8 pts, 1 reb) are leading the scoring as the Timberwolves take a 35-27 lead over the Pacers after the first.

We had 11 lead changes and two ties in the first quarter in this competitive battle.

“This is really good to see the pace we’ve been having,” said Prime’s Teresa Weatherspoon. “This is good. Keep it going!”

Braden Smith (5 pts, 2 ast) likes this shot fading to the baseline — it’s tough, but is a good weapon for a 6-foot guard as he adjusts to pro size and length.

Magic–76ers about to tip on ESPNU

Some good matchups in this one.

In the backcourt, the Magic boast Jase Richardson, the No. 25 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, facing the 76ers’ No. 22 pick Labaron Philon.

In the frontcourt, Noah Penda, the No. 32 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, has been big for Orlando, and will matchup with Johni Broome, the No. 35 pick in 2025, who has been one of the main stars for Philly.

It’s a battle of intriguing guard prospects, as No. 38 pick Braden Smith, the NCAA men’s basketball all-time assist leader, faces Zyon Pullin and No. 33 pick Isaiah Evans.

Jalen Slawson, a 6-foot-7 forward out of Furman, has been a force for Indiana in recent games, playing off Smith and the spacing around him. Keep an eye on him here.

Egor Dёmin (22 pts, 8 ast, 4 stl) and the Nets forced 28 turnovers and ran away from the Kings 115-83, overcoming Darius Acuff Jr. (26 pts, 5 ast).

Javon Small (26 pts, 7 ast, 5 3PM) and the Grizzlies got hot from 3-point range, shooting 53.1% from beyond the arc to dispatch the Warriors 106-85.

Caleb Wilson (19 pts, 8 reb) and the Bulls defeated the Wizards 99-87, earning their first win in Las Vegas.

Trevon Brazile (32 pts) went off, helping the Nuggets hold off a comeback attempt by the Thunder 106-103.

Cameron Carr (23 pts, 3 3PM) and the Lakers won the Battle of Los Angeles 99-85, dispatching Keaton Wagler (16 pts, 6 reb, 4 ast) and the Clippers.
