Derwin James and the Los Angeles Chargers have agreed to terms on an extension that will make him the NFL’s highest-paid safety, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday.
James’ new deal is a three-year, $75.6 million deal with $57.1 million guaranteed, per Rapoport.
